About me
Joy joined GALILEO as an assistant director in charge of marketing communications efforts in 2019. At GALILEO, she also leads an ambassador committee and a K-12 advisory group. Joy has an MBA in marketing and MPA in nonprofit management both from Georgia State University. She also obtained a journalism degree from the Missouri School of Journalism. Before communications, Joy was a reporter and editor for various media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and The State newspaper in S.C. Joy lives in metro Atlanta with her inquisitive toddler and two bichons. They enjoy visiting the local library every weekend!
