About me
Dr. Jessica Thompson has worked in education since 1999 and has developed a love of learning and sharing knowledge with her students. She is a lecturer in the University of West Georgia’s School Library program. She is interested in all things school library related, promoting a joy of reading, and curating a library collection. She is a member of ALA, AASL, NAMLE, VAASL, and GLMA. Jessica authored a few articles, such as the 2021 Knowledge Quest article “Cultivating Our Self-Efficacy as School Librarians" and the 2015 School Library Connection article “Ladies and Fairies and Cats, Oh,My!: Innovative Library Promotion.”
